LIONEL MESSI has told Luis Suarez that one of their Barcelona team-mates is leaving the club.
It looks set to be another summer of change at the Nou Camp as club bosses attempt to fund a monster move for Atletico Madrid forward Antoine Griezmann.
And, according to Diario Gol, Denis Suarez is one of the fringe players set to be sold to raise the necessary funds for Griezmann.
The Spanish publication claim Messi has discovered that the midfielder’s time at the club is coming to an end.
Messi was reportedly eager to share the gossip and told strike partner Suarez that his namesake was off.
claim he said: “He’s leaving Barca.”
One-cap Spain international Suarez has played just one minute of football in Barcelona’s last seven league clashes.
He has made just nine starts in all competitions this term but is attracting interest from the Premier League, Italy and Spain.
It’s claimed some of his suitors would prefer a loan deal but Barcelona are looking to sell him permanently.
Reports in Spain last month suggested Suarez was seeking talks with Ernesto Valverde over his future.
