Luis Suarez has been a great servant to Barcelona.
Signed in 2014 from Liverpool for £64.98 million, Suarez has played a key role as Barcelona have won three La Liga titles.
In his five seasons at the club, he has made 231 appearances and hit the back of the net 168 times.
However, at 32 years old, Suarez has recently shown signs that his age is catching up with him.
The Uruguayan international's goal tally has declined this season, 'only' scoring 16 times in 31 appearances.
While that is a decent return, it isn't quite good enough.
Barcelona fans have become extremely concerned with Suarez's form in recent weeks, with some even deeming him as 'finished'.
His failure to score away at Lyon earlier this week means he hasn't scored away in the Champions League for 16 games.
Indeed, amid his struggles, it is believed that Barcelona will sign a replacement for Suarez in the summer.

Barcelona fans want Mbappe to replace Suarez, but there are doubts whether he would want to join
So it seems Barcelona fans want the club to sign Mbappe more than any other striker.
He will not come cheap, though, and there are doubts whether he would even want to move to Barca at this stage in his career.
The second most popular choice was Kane but, again, he has only recently extended his contract at Tottenham and is unlikely to move in the summer.
Luka Jovic, though, is a much more realistic target.

The Benfica player, who is currently on loan at Frankfurt, has scored 20 times in 30 appearances for the Bundesliga club.
At just 21 years old, he has his best years well ahead of him and could represent good value for money if they were able to seal a deal for him.

January 24 – Spanish giants Real Madrid and Barcelona have taken over at the top of this year’s Deloitte Football Money League, relegating Manchester United to third place.
But all of the Premier League’s Big Six are in the top ten of the table, which monitors top-line growth among the world’s – in practice Europe’s – biggest clubs.
Deloitte said that European champion club Real Madrid’s revenue jump to €750.9 million was “primarily due to commercial growth of €54.8 million, including an uplift in sponsorship, merchandising and exploitation of increasingly lucrative pre-season fixtures. At €356.2 million,” Deloitte continued, “Real Madrid now have the highest commercial revenue of any football club globally”.
After Madrid, the rest of the top ten was as follows: Barcelona €690.4 million, Manchester United €666 million, Bayern Munich €629.2 million, Manchester City €568.4 million, Paris Saint-Germain €541.7 million, Liverpool €513.7 million, Chelsea €505.7 million, Arsenal €439.2 million and Tottenham Hotspur €428.3 million.
Nine of the top 20 were English, four Italian, three German, three Spanish and one French. Combined revenues of this top 20 rose 6% to €8.3 billion. While Premier League club turnover was depressed by the depreciation of sterling, the impact was not sufficient to significantly change the rankings.
By focusing on the top-line, this exercise gives only a partial picture of prevailing trends in European club finances. Recent seasons have seen the biggest clubs enjoying an enviable combination of strong revenue growth and relatively subdued wage hikes. This has given them lots to spend on new players, triggering inflation in the transfer market.
With market valuations pushed far in excess balance-sheet values – this month’s UEFA club benchmarking report calculated that “players sold in the 2017 financial year had a combined transfer fee of €4.3 billion, but were valued at just €1.1 billion at the time of their sale” – and the amortisation process working its magic, even nominally “buying” clubs are finding net profits pumped up by gains on player sales.

It may be considerably more than €100 million.
Interestingly, the three clubs elbowed out of this year’s top 20 – Leicester City, Napoli and Southampton – all featured among the top ten European clubs on the basis of net profits in the 2016-17 financial year. According to UEFA, Leicester and Napoli were first and second.
“The curse of all curses is the revenue line,” according to the late Roberto Goizueta, a notably successful boss of frequent football sponsor Coca-Cola. It is not quite the same, arguably, for football clubs, but the revenue line does not the whole story tell.

José Mourinho already puts order in Real Madrid even before landing. The Portuguese has made it clear to Florentino Pérez that it is what he wants to find in June.
For starters, he wants to lose sight of the Keylor, Marcelo, Ramos, Bale and Benzemaand hopes to release the players of the bunch, such as Vallejo, Mariano, Casilla, Reguilón or Valverde, of whom 'Mou' wonders how they have made to get to Madrid.


In terms of signings, 'The Special One' has several requests. First, a central star, that can pair with Varane and make Sergio Ramosforget . Skriniar, De Ligt or Koulibaly are the ones who like the most, but Mourinho does not hide his devotion for Alderweireld.

Manchester United and Tottenham have been strongly linked, with both clubs looking to strengthen their left-sided options in the summer transfer window.

Arsenal have “been warned” by Eric Dier that his dear Danish team mate Christian Eriksen will be at his “best ever” for the North London Derby, and all because he scored a hat trick against Ireland in Denmark’s 5-1 romping to qualify for the World Cup.
If it were that easy, Danny Welbeck would have been at his best numerous times for the Gunners following his usual England brilliance. But he was never able to translate to the club level what he did internationally.
Does this mean that Alexandre Lacazette will be at his best because he scored a brace against Germany? This is really poor logic.
Sometimes I enjoy crapping all over points made in favor of the Spurs because I just enjoy doing so. Because they are the Spurs. But this time, it’s different. I actually think Dier made a crappy point. Are we supposed to be scared? I even have Eriksen on my fantasy team (I’m not proud of that), so I’ve taken a keen interest in his doings and, sorry, he’s not at his best.
I don’t care if he scored seven goals against FIFA 18’s incarnate Icon Team. It’s different doing it at the club level and Eriksen has had some serious duds. Three goals and two assists is respectable across over 900 minutes of play. Respectable, as in not “at his best.”

Tottenham held Real Madrid to a 1-1 draw at the Santiago Bernabeu in an enthralling encounter between the top two of Champions League Group H.
Cristiano Ronaldo cancelled out Raphael Varane's own goal in the first half in the Spanish capital, but the holders could not find a way past the inspired Spurs keeper Hugo Lloris in their pursuit of a second.
Both these teams had won their opening two group games and suitably delivered a match of high quality on Tuesday, in which both goalkeepers were forced into some stunning saves to keep the scores level.
It was Spurs who struck first, with Varane inadvertently turning Serge Aurier's cross into his own net, before Ronaldo drew Madrid level with his fifth Champions League goal of the season.
Madrid enjoyed more possession and the better of the chances but Lloris was in inspired form, producing athletic stops to deny Karim Benzema and Ronaldo and earn his side a share of the spoils, while it required a brilliant save from Keylor Navas to prevent Harry Kane snatching the win for Tottenham.
The result means the teams are level on seven points and identical goal difference ahead of the return fixture at Wembley on November 1.
Spurs lined up with Fernando Llorente alongside Kane in attack and a five-man defence, but the reinforced back line was exposed inside the first five minutes as Ronaldo rattled the post with a header before Karim Benzema side-footed wide on the rebound.

Real Madrid is considering making a £177 million (about $235 million) offer for Tottenham striker Harry Kane next summer, according to reports in Spain.
Kane has stood out as one of the most prolific players in the Premier League in recent years, finishing the last two seasons as top scorer. The England sriker, who only turned 24 in July, has scored 13 times in his last eight games for club and country.
Such numbers are reminiscent of only two players in world football: Real’s Cristiano Ronaldo and Barcelona’s Lio Messi is the only player to have more goals than Kane this season in Europe’s top leagues.

Real Madrid wants to bring Dele Alli, Paulo Dybala and David Alaba to the Santiago Bernabeu next summer in a bid to continue its domination of European football, according to reports.
Tottenham’s Alli is on a list of targets, along with Dybala of Juventus and Bayern Munich’s Alaba, as Madrid hunts its next era of galacticos.

Having become the first team to win back-to-back Champions League titles, Zinedine Zidane wants to make additions to his team that will help him get his team there again.
Last month, highly-respected French newspaper L’Equipe ranked Alli as the second best under-21 player in world football, with Real’s Marco Asensio at number one. The 21-year-old hasn’t even played 100 games for Tottenham yet, but is already being touted for a move to one of Europe’s biggest clubs.

Speculation over this intensified when news broke that Alli was looking to change his representation, and so-called “super-agents” such as Jorge Mendes and Mino Raiola were among those interested, the times reported in September.
Asensio and Alli would make up part of an attack that would be worthy of succeeding Cristiano Ronaldo, when the prolific forward decides to retire, and it would be made even stronger by Dybala.
The 23-year-old Argentine has been compared to Barcelona’s Lionel Messi for his playing style, especially after being at the center of Juventus’ run to the Champions League final in May. Dybala and Juventus were beaten quite easily by Real at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff, but Real was clearly impressed by the playmaker.
And then Real looks at finding a successor at left-back. Alaba has proved to be capable in defense and going forward in his seven years at Bayern Munich, and is similar in style to Marcelo, who will be 30 by next summer.
The prospect of adding these three to Real’s squad is a daunting prospect for the rest of Europe, as the Spanish giant is also reportedly monitoring Eden Hazard at Chelsea as well as Harry Kane at Tottenham.
