BARCELONA star Lionel Messi is reportedly desperate for the La Liga giants to get rid of team-mate.

Gomes arrived at the Nou Camp in 2016 off the back of an impressive two-year stint with Barca’s domestic rivals Valencia.
And he’s since racked up 64 first-team appearances one the way to helping Barcelona win two trophies.
Gomes has been accused of not suiting the club’s style of play though and that has seen him linked with a move away.
The latest reports from Spain suggest if the 24-year-old is sold, Messi will be more than happy to see him go.

According to Diario Gol, Messi is Gomes’ "worst enemy" in Ernesto Valverde’s team.
And the Argentine would like to see him sold this month or in the summer if needs be.
Messi apparently believes Gomes has no place at the club and does not even like to see him.
Messi and Gomes' paths apparently crossed for the worse a few months ago.
And news of their disagreement filtered through to his Portugal team-mates.
It is claimed that Gomes said Messi rules the roost at Barcelona.
Gomes is not the only player potentially on his way out of the club.
Gerard Deulofeu, Aleix Vidal, Arda Turan, Rafinha, Paco Alcacer and Denis Suarez are set to be axed too. READ MORE
