Chelsea have confirmed the signing of Gonzalo Higuain on loan until the end of the 2018-19 season. Juventus have now activated their recall clause to bring back Higuain from AC Milan to allow the 31-year-old to join the Premier League club. Juventus' official website revealed that the deal can be extended by another 12 months for a fee around £16m, while also inserting an option to buy for £31m.
The striker gets reunited with his former boss Maurizio Sarri with whom he shined in the fabled 2015-16 season at Napoli in which he scored a massive 36 goals in the Serie A averaging more than one goal per game.
He has admitted he likes Sarri and it was the season he enjoyed football the most.
Higuain said this to Chelsea's official website on the deal being completed:

When the opportunity to join Chelsea presented itself I had to take it. It’s a team I’ve always liked that has a lot of history, a wonderful stadium and they play in the Premier League, a league I’ve always wanted to play in."
One thing is inevitable- he will score a ridiculous amount of goals. And statistics can attest it. Since his debut in 2007, only four players (Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, Edinson Cavani and Zlatan Ibrahimovic) have scored more goals than him.

Its something Chelsea's strikers Olivier Giroud and Alvaro Morata are under constant criticism for not doing. A recent 2-0 loss against city rivals, Arsenal depicts it. They were in a clear lack of a focal point in the attack.

The team led by Maurizio Sarri is showing an atypical style of play for what would be expected from an Italian coach. Although football does not always reward the good handling of the ball by a team, in this case Chelsea is in the top positions and with real chances of climbing and getting into the fight.   

But from the leadership anticipate the imminent departure of the players that undoubtedly make the whole team stronger. In the first instance it is known the interest of several clubs for the best player of the " blues ". Since Real Madrid has shown the greatest interest to buy Eden Hazard , the Belgian also has the desire to represent the white club for several seasons.

To replace the current 10 of the team, Roman Abramovich has moved his chips and paid Borussia Dortmund a sum of 73 million euros for Christian Pulisic , a player of just 20 years of age, but has more than 100 games in the Bundesliga , besides being the heart of the American team.



Another marches that will occur in Chelsea , will be to Álvaro Morata , who will supply in Milan to Higuaín , in a tournament already known for his past in the juventino team. The replacement of the Spanish would be in the Eredivisie , because interested Hirving Lozano and are willing to pay 40 million euros for the Mexican end that has been doing very good performances in Holland and their selection.

This news disturbs the planning that was in Barcelona for the " Chucky ", as they would have competition to close the contract, without counting that the cost of the signing would increase its value, because of what the London team would be willing to pay. Abramóvich will give a blow of authority in the market ?.

Difficult Premier League debut for Morata
Spain international striker Alvaro Morata had a tough debut campaign at Stamford Bridge, and reports suggest that the forward may not get a second campaign to prove his value to Chelsea.


The Spaniard scored only 15 goals in 48 matches after his summer transfer from La Liga giants Real Madrid, failing to extend his decent start at Chelsea to go through his struggles in finding the net regularly while competition came in the form of French striker Olivier Giroud in the winter.

The player’s woes were arguably a major factor in the Blues’ inability to find the net consistently as a squad too, as they finished the season with only 62 goals in 38 league matches, the lowest goal tally of the top six teams on the log standing.

Chelsea keen on swap move
As reported by Calciomercato, it’s now been suggested that the FA Cup winners could use the forward as a makeweight in an attempt to land Inter forward Mauro Icardi. The report suggests that the transfer bid will consist of €35m-€40m plus Alvaro Morata for the Argentine striker.

In contrast to the former Juventus striker, the Argentine has been prolific for his side, netting 107 goals in 182 matches since joining the club back in 2013.

CHELSEA are plotting a sensational swap involving Alvaro Morata and a deadly striker according to reports in Spain. 
Morata suffered a wayward second half to his first season at Stamford Bridge, as the defending Premier League champions limped to a fifth-placed finish.
The Spanish striker’s form was adversely affected by a mysterious back injury which kept him out of action in the winter.
Olivier Giroud was brought in from Arsenal in January and took Morata’s place after earning boss Antonio Conte’s trust.
And with the Italian manager looking set to be leave the Blues, his £58m signing could be about to follow him out of the door.
It now transpires that Chelsea have been keeping tabs on Inter Milan’s electric striker Icardi.

And according to Spanish radio station Cadena Ser, a huge exchange deal could be on the cards in order to tempt the Nerazzurri to sell their captain.
The report claims that the west London outfit will offer Morata plus £35m cash to secure the Argentine hitman’s services.
Icardi recorded anther impressive season as his goals helped propel Inter to fourth place in Serie A.
The 25-year-old was snubbed for his national team’s World Cup squad, despite racking up 29 strikes in 34 games last season.
Morata, meanwhile, was far less clinical in the English top-flight, netting just 11 times in 31 appearances.
According to recent reports, rivals Juventus recently met with the star in an attempt to bring him back to Italy.
Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is keen on Icardi but does not want to shell out the reported £96m fee required to bring him to the club.
So a part-exchange deal could be the way to keep all parties happy, although whether Morata would agree to the switch remains to be seen.

Our Chelsea fans here in the Transfer Tavern are reacting to reports that one of their main strikers may want to leave the club in the summer in a return to familiar surroundings.
Alvaro Morata has been a lonely figure up front in the Chelsea team, ever since the turn of the year the Spaniard has frustrated the fans in the bar. Indeed, it’s reported that Morata wants to move back to his old club Juventus and they are keen on the idea.
The Spaniard enjoyed a successful period in Italy when he was on loan there from Real Madrid for two years during which, he picked up back-to-back Serie A titles and was looking likely to have found a place to call home. However, since making the move to SW6 last summer, after an initial new club bounce, he has found it hard to maintain a consistent level in the English Premier League.
With that in mind, our landlord takes a look at if Morata was to return to the Old Lady this summer, which star striker would jump straight into his boots at Stamford Bridge…
OUR VERDICT – Edinson Cavani
The Uruguayan hitman has scored 28 league goals this season, although it’s thought that the French champions are willing to let him leave this summer following several reported fallings out with world-record signing Neymar throughout the season.
Reports suggest that PSG are happy to cash-in on the over-30 striker, only on the basis they can secure their own replacement, in the form of Bayern Munich’s forward Robert Lewandowski. Despite all his success in the French capital since joining from Napoli, Cavani has never truly been loved and a move to west London would be a wonderful career decision.
Valued at £54m by Transfermakrt, he’d set the Premier League alight.
