Juve manager Massimiliano Allegri will be hoping to see a response from his team after they suffered a 3-2 defeat at Sampdoria on Sunday, where Gonzalo Higuain and Paulo Dybala were both on target.
Allegri's side trail league leaders Napoli by four points after 13 matches, the loss halting a six-match unbeaten run in all competitions.
They need victory on home soil to prevent the Blaugrana from winning the group with one game to go, the gap sitting at three points between first (10) and second place (7).
"We know we are facing a top team in Barcelona, a team with plenty of talent. We will have to put in a great performance to get a positive result," Allegri told the press on Tuesday.
"After two lost finals [in 2015 and 2017] we can go one better. It won't be easy but we always have to give everything, starting by progressing to the next stage."
Barca have failed to register maximum points on just two occasions this term - a 1-1 draw with Atletico Madrid and a goalless stalemate against Olympiacos.
Ernesto Valverde's men lead La Liga by four points ahead of second-placed Valencia, who are also undefeated in 2017/18 and the only other club managing to keep pace at this stage in the title race.
Valverde reckons Juve will be a different prospect this time around playing in front of their home fans, and is looking forward to a tactical battle with Allegri.
"We expect to see the best Juve. They are serious rivals with a stadium and fans who give them great support," Valverde said in his pre-match press conference.
"They create loads of chances and tomorrow they will need to win. It will be a difficult game but we will give our best. Juve are coming off a defeat [3-2 at Sampdoria on Sunday] and will want to make amends as quickly as possible.
"We will try to create more opportunities than them and win. It will be very interesting because both teams will try to keep possession."
In team news, Allegri has a full squad at his disposal, with no injuries or suspensions to worry about.
Valverde isn't so lucky as Javier Mascherano became the club's latest injury victim during the international break. The Argentine defender has joined Ousmane Dembele, Rafinha, Arda Turan, Andre Gomes and Sergi Roberto on the sidelines
