Neymar faced the awkward moment of reuniting with Lionel Messi in the public eye at the Best FIFA Best Awards.
Neither of the South American stars claimed the top prize as Cristiano Ronaldo scooped the men's player of the year.

But the PSG forward discussed chatting with his former team-mate after spending four seasons together.
"I spoke to Bartomeu in a normal fashion," Neymar revealed to Radio Marca. "[Messi and I] didn't speak about football, only other things.
He is my friend and wherever we are, we will be together."
The animosity between Neymar and Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu exists after the Brazilian's contract was bought out for almost £200m.
Bartomeu's bitterness stems from his belief Neymar's departure was fuelled by greed and money.
