Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford send warning massage to Real Madrid talisman Cristiano Ronaldo over free-kick technique.
The 19-year-old England international has diligently worked on his set-piece delivery after training and memorably fired home a stunning free-kick against Celta Vigo last April and set Marouane Fellani to Red Devil's third goal in 4-0 demolishing of Crystal Palace on Saturday with a teasing set-piece.
Rashford's free-kick stance and run up is similar to Ronaldo's 'knuckle-ball' technique, but he maintains they have two different styles.
“No, it's actually a different technique. I can do it like he does it but I haven't done it yet," he said.
Rashford has been at the heart of Manchester United's impressive start to the season, scoring five goals and creating four more, despite being rotated on a game-by-game basis with Anthony Martial.
The youngstar is rated as one of football's hottest prospects and will hope to one day follow in the footsteps of his four idols - Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, Wayne Rooney and Neymar.
“You try to, especially when you're young, until you find your own identity," he replied when asked if he modelled his game on anyone.
"You try to emulate those players a lot and they're the things that make you into the player you are," he added,
“Ronaldo, Messi, Rooney, Neymar - everyone knows good football when you see it and that's what I like to watch as well.
