Living in Boston

Boston is a world-class city that is known as a center for education and scholarship. After New York and Los Angeles, the city ranks third among U.S. metro areas for its number of international students. This means you’re never far away from someone else going through similar experiences as you.
The city is home to a variety of theaters, live music, urban environments and historic walking tours. The town is one of the nation’s oldest areas and is easy to explore on foot or by public transit.
Boston is also a big college town. There are over 50 colleges and universities in the area, which means there is always something going on around the city. If you love sports, it’s one of the biggest sports cities in the country. Locals love rooting for their favorite professional teams which include the Red Sox, Patriots, Celtics and the Bruins.
Massachusetts is full of opportunity making it a great place to find an internship after you graduate. The city is considered a world leader in innovation and has the world’s largest concentration of Nobel laureates–It also receives the most venture capital funding in the country. Since Boston's economy is known to be incorporated with the schools, getting an internship or participating in Optional Practical Training (OPT) after college is easier than in other parts of the country.
