Kylian Mbappe has refused to rule out joining Real Madrid in the future. Mbappe is playing in his second season for PSG following on from his 2017 switch from AS Monaco, and he has already cemented himself as a star player alongside Neymar. However, the 20-year-old believes he could potentially leave the French club one day in the future for new challenges elsewhere.
When asked about the possibility of moving to Real Madrid, Mbappe told AS: ‘I’m fine here, but in football – and the future, you never know. ‘I’m very happy with how things are going for me at Paris Saint Germain, I’m under contract until 2021 and so now’s not the moment to think about anything else.’ PSG are currently top of Ligue 1 on 53 points, 13 above closest challengers Lille. Their position at the top of the league was helped by three points at weekend over Guingamp where Mbappe scored a hat-trick in a 9-0 win.
