Barely just closed the transfer market this summer and Barca already have their sights set on possible future additions. And on that list there is a crack that is at the top of the list of priorities: Frenkie De Jong.
The Dutch midfielder Ajax has been on the agenda of Barca for months. The Catalans have tried to sign him this summer, but after failing, the idea is to tie it as soon as possible to have it in 2019.

In that sense, Barca wants to accelerate the negotiation with Ajax. So much so that in the coming days a meeting is expected between managers of the Catalan team and the Dutch club.

De Jong would arrive blessed, and Leo Messi has already given his approval to his incorporation. The '10' is clear that the team needs a player of the characteristics of the Dutch, and what he has seen of him believes that it would fit perfectly into the style of play of the Catalan box.

De Jong, with only 21 years old, would be the perfect option to get the longed-for relief for the Catalan midfielder. And the intention is to sign him as soon as possible.
