With the opening of the January transfer window just a few days away, teams have begun concluding on their plans to add to their squad, and Chelsea would not be left out.
Antonio Conte has reportedly lost faith in Michy Batshuayi and he is prepared to let go of the Belgian if an acceptable offer is made for his signature.
According to Football London, the Blues have been handed a major boost in their quest to replace Batshuayi with Red Star Belgrade striker Richmond Boakye admitting that he would jump at the chance to play for Antonio Conte again.
The 24-year-old attacker was signed by the Italian tactician at the age of 19 when he was finding his feet in the Serie A.
Boakye has scored 23 goals already this season, helping Red Star open a nine-point gap at the top of their league table as well as qualifying for the next round of the Europa League.
The Ghanaian would reportedly cost the Blues less than £20 million, and his club has already begun fielding enquiries from teams like Rennes and Besiktas.
