BARCELONA could shut down plans to boost their squad January, meaning an end to their pursuit of Philippe Coutinho for the time being.

Barcelona are expected to make an offer for Liverpool star Coutinho in the January transfer market.
They made three bids in the summer - the largest being £118million - which were all rejected by the Reds.
Reports in Spain earlier this month suggested the Nou Camp club have already been in touch with Liverpool regarding a fresh £106m bid.
But president Josep Maria Bartomeu has hinted that Barca could shy away from transfer activity in the New Year.
Barca are flying high in La Liga and are expected to secure progression to the Champions League knockout stages.
And Bartomeu admitted at a gala last night that there is now less need for new signings.
"We will look at the winter market in case we have to do some retouching in the fight for the Copa del Rey, La Liga and the Champions League,” Bartomeu said.
“But the truth is that we are happy with the squad we have.”
Barca headed into the season amid plenty of uncertainty after losing Neymar to a forced £200m transfer to Paris Saint-Germain.
They landed Ousmane Dembele from Borussia Dortmund as a young replacement for Neymar but also went after Coutinho, Jon Seri and Marco Verratti.
In the end, Barca completed the somewhat surprising £40m capture of midfielder Paulinho from Chinese side Guangzhou Evergrande, and the Brazilian has proved a hit at the Nou Camp.
Barca have impressed in the early stages of the season, winning 11 of their 12 La Liga games and racing to the top of their Champions League group.
All this in manager Ernesto Valverde’s first season in charge.
And Bartomeu reserved praise for the boss.
“We are on the right track, we have a team with ambition and a lot of desire,” he said.
"As I have said on more than one occasion, we are in love with Valverde."
