BARCELONA hope to secure a massive El Clasico boost with Ousmane Dembele pencilled in to play Real Madrid in next month's Clasico.
Dembele cost Barcelona £138million in the summer when arriving from Borussia Dortmund.
He is yet to score for his new club and suffered a hamstring injury way back in September that has since kept him sidelined.
Barca had expected Dembele to be out until the New Year, thus missing the first La Liga Clasico of the season on December 23.
But sports in Spain claim Dembele could be back to face Real Madrid.
According to Marca, Barcelona are growing increasingly confident that Dembele can make his comeback against Real.
Barcelona are already eight points ahead of Real Madrid in the La Liga title race and have also excelled in the Champions League this season.
That is despite not having Dembele, while Luis Suarez has battled on with a knee injury.
Suarez will go under the knife during this international break to sort out a cyst on his knee.
He will likely be out for Barca’s trip to Leganes after the international break and possibly the away game with Juventus.
