The Chelsea fans were expecting big things from Tiemoue Bakayoko.
The Frenchman was a star for Monaco last season, and having impressed in the Champions League in particular, he looked more than good enough for the Premier League.

However, since moving to London, it just hasn’t happened for him.
Other than a great performance against Tottenham not long after his arrival, Bakayoko has failed to force his way into the first team on a weekly basis, and when he has been picked, he has generally looked pretty average.
Of course, it was always going to be tough to stand out alongside the ever-incredible N’Golo Kante, but even with that considered, Bakayoko has been well below par.

Unsurprisingly, fans have begun to turn against him as the season has progressed, and it appears as though a pretty significant section of the Stamford Bridge faithful are ready for him to leave already.
We recently ran a poll on that very matter, and 55% of fans voted in favour or selling the Frenchman – whilst 45% voted to the contrary.
Clearly, then, fans are divided, but one thing cannot be denied: over half of those polled want Bakayoko to leave, which is a very significant group of fans.
Whether it actually happens or not remains to be seen, but thus far, Bakayoko has done very little to suggest that he deserves to be in the team ahead of the likes of Danny Drinkwater and Cesc Fabregas, and so Antonio Conte certainly has a big decision on his hands this summer.
