Barcelona news: Lionel Messi tells Ernesto Valverde one player must not face Chelsea
BARCELONA star Lionel Messi has reportedly told Ernesto Valverde not to play Ousmane Dembele against Chelsea tonight.
Barcelona travel to Stamford Bridge tomorrow aiming to pile more misery on Antonio Conte’s struggling Chelsea side.
The Blues go into the game aiming to make the quarter-finals of the Champions League for the first time since 2016.
In Barcelona, they will go up against one of the best teams in world football, with the Catalan giants yet to lose a single La Liga game all season.
Messi will take to the field charged with the task of ending his goal drought against Chelsea, who have kept him quiet on 12 previous occasions.
And Spanish outlet Diario Gol claim the Argentina international is keen to put Chelsea to the sword.
As a result, he has seemingly ordered manager Valverde not to play Dembele.
