Barcelona re-signed Gerard Deulofeu in the summer from Everton following a successful short loan spell with AC Milan.
Ernesto Valverde was keen to bring the 23-year-old back to the Nou Camp after his stint at the San Siro.
However, he has started just five La Liga games this term since returning to his boyhood club.
And Spanish outlet Don Balon claim a number of the experienced players in the squad like Gerard Pique think it would be best if he was moved on.
The report says Pique is not adverse to wading into Barca’s transfer business and has done so in the past.
And the defender is reportedly the driving force behind calls for Deulofeu to be sold.
The 30-year-old is said to believe the former Everton man would be better off at a different club where he could get regular game time and kick on.
And Pique is said to have the backing of Barca’s most powerful voice in the dressing room - Lionel Messi.
