Alvaro Morata has openly admitted he would be open to returning to Real Madrid later in his career – but first he must win everything at Chelsea.
The striker has made a quick impact at Stamford Bridge since joining from Real Madrid in a £60million deal over the summer.
He has seven Premier League goals to his name, including a superb header that downed Manchester United just before the international break.
Morata explained his decision to leave Real Madrid was based purely on a lack of playing time and the club is still in his heart.
Of course I’d go back to Real Madrid – but only after I have won everything with Chelsea and made my mark there,’ he told AS.
‘It’s very difficult to say no to Real Madrid when you’re a Madridista. But to be honest, I don’t think it’s going to happen.
‘Although you never know. It’s not something I am thinking about because I’m happy in London.’
