Barcelona star BANNED for the next four games because of this shocking reason

Barcelona defender has been hit with a four-game ban for his wrong conduct against an opposition fan, according to report. Moussa Wague who was recently included in Barcelona first team, hit an opposition fan in the face in the game against SD Ejea after striking the opposition supporter when he had gone to retrieve the ball from the crowd. The 20-year-old Senegalese defender apologised for his wrongful act but he claimed he was abused and he was a victim of ‘numerous racist insults’.

“I wish to explain my sincere apologies to SD Ejea and the fan of that club for my conduct during the game yesterday,” Wague wrote on an Instagram post on Monday. “In a moment of anger, with the scoreline not in our favour, I behaved incorrectly and I acknowledge that and want to reiterate my apologies. “I want to denounce also that my action, attempting to get the ball back from a fan to take a throw-in, arrived after being the object of numerous and continued racist insults and songs that should not be tolerated ever in a football stadium.”

The club accepted the apology but are yet to verify his claims of racism and Barcelona has appealed against the length of the punishment meted to the defender but not on the grounds of racism being present.

In another news that looks like it, the lawsuit filed against Lionel Messi for breaching his contract that allowed his father, Jorge Messi, to normalise his stay in Spain in 2004 has ben dismissed by the Superior Court of Justice of Catalonia (TSJC). It was understood by the plaintiff that the contract issued by a construction company allowed for the permanent residence of the player’s father in Spain, but the judge dismissed it and even forced him to pay the costs of the process. The payment required was two per cent of Leo Messi’s income corresponding to the 2009/10, 2010/11, 2011/12 and 2012/13 seasons. In the seasons that followed and up until 2019/20, that payment rose to three per cent.

Messi’s decision not to attend the trial has not been considered as an acknowledgement of the facts, as he was a minor when the alleged contract was signed and did not take part in the negotiations, as according to the statements of the different parties. The judge, in the absence of proof, acquitted the Argentine of all the claims made against him. There is now a 20 day window in which the decision can be appealed.
