Throughout our university and surrounding communities, we have a shared value of supporting the common good. SLU created these values to encourage staff and students to adopt the highest standards of conduct for both personal and professional practice.

St. Louis claims a number of significant cultural gems, including the world famous Gateway Arch; Forest Park, which is larger than New York City’s Central Park and contains the city’s free zoo, art museum, science center and history museum; and City Museum, which combines art and fun through recycled architecture.

Campus Safety

SLU's campus is very safe and has its own full-service law enforcement agency on campus. Rave Messenger is SLU’s emergency notification system used to send messages about school closings and timely safety warnings to the university community via text, email and telephone call.
We have staff who can help ease your transition to the US. Whether you need to speak to someone in your native language, get a driver’s license or find a doctor, you can visit the INTO SLU front desk and we will help you.
